No. VeriMom provides informational content based on publicly available safety data. Always consult your healthcare provider before making decisions about skincare during pregnancy.
How accurate is the safety scoring?+
Our scoring is based on EU CosIng, ECHA hazard classifications, PubChem, and PubMed research. We use a conservative approach — when in doubt, we err on the side of caution.
Why does an ingredient show as "Unknown"?+
Some ingredients haven't been fully scored yet, or they may be proprietary blends not in public databases. We're continuously expanding our coverage.
Can I check any product?+
Yes! Simply copy the ingredient list (usually found on the product page or packaging) and paste it into our checker. We support standard INCI format used globally.
Is my data stored?+
We don't store ingredient lists you submit for analysis. Your privacy is important to us.
How often is the database updated?+
We continuously update our ingredient database as new research is published and regulatory classifications change.
